Hero of Chesterfield

a rewarding VR experience about saving an adorable village

This VR adventure was developed during the 8th semester as a collaborative project by a small, talented team: Aylin Behringer, Jessica Rehberger, Jordis Wieser, and myself. Together, we crafted the concept and story for a fantasy village in peril, inviting players to step into a magical world and become its savior.

My primary responsibilities included designing the gameplay and core functionality. Additionally, I contributed by creating a selection of 3D assets and designing the game’s logo and icon to ensure a cohesive visual identity.

We used Unreal Engine 5 and the Unreal Blueprint Visual Scripting system. I used Autodesk 3ds Max and Substance Painter to make 3D assets.  Illustrator and Photoshop for UI and Logodesign.

This project showcased the strength of our teamwork and our shared passion for immersive storytelling. It was an exciting challenge to bring this VR world to life, and I’m proud of the experience we created together.
